Before leaving to make her mark in NYC, designer Afaf's masterpiece collection stole the runway (for obvious reasons) at Raleigh Fashion Week's Finale. I hung out backstage as she brought her concept of "wearing the insides out" to life. With bodily prints, ruffles and accessories, her stunningly original designs echoed arteries, veins and bones. Leave it to Afaf to make the cardiovascular system glamorous and the skeleton sexy!
